Warehouse Order Processor / Fulfillment Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven Warehouse Order Processor to join our distribution team. This role is responsible for accurate order fulfillment, inventory monitoring, and maintaining strict warehouse procedures for a fast-growing beauty brand distributed to Amazon, Whole Foods, UNFI, KeHE, and independent retailers.

This is not a general labor position. We are looking for individuals who can follow procedures, work independently, and take ownership of accuracy and productivity.

Core Responsibilities

Order Processing & Fulfillment

• Pick and pack orders accurately from warehouse inventory
• Print packing slips and shipping labels using ShipRush
• Process shipments for:
• Amazon FBA
• UNFI
• KeHE
• Wholesale customers
• Direct-to-consumer orders
• Verify SKU, lot, and quantities before shipment
• Build and label cartons according to routing guides
• Palletize distributor orders properly

Amazon FBA Responsibilities

• Label units for Amazon FBA shipments
• Follow Amazon carton labeling requirements
• Print and apply FNSKU labels
• Prepare box content information
• Build pallets to Amazon specifications
• Shrink wrap pallets correctly
• Schedule outbound shipments

Distributor Order Processing (UNFI / KeHE)

• Read purchase orders
• Match items and quantities exactly
• Follow routing guides
• Print Bill of Lading documents
• Proper pallet configuration
• Apply pallet labels correctly
• Stage freight for pickup

Inventory Control Responsibilities

• Daily low inventory checks
• Weekly inventory cycle counts
• Notify management when inventory drops below thresholds
• Maintain FIFO inventory rotation
• Track lot numbers
• Ensure inventory accuracy
• Report discrepancies immediately

Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness

• Maintain clean, organized pick areas
• Keep warehouse carts sterile (cardboard/plastic only)
• Remove trash daily
• Maintain food-free warehouse environment
• Follow pest prevention procedures
• Maintain safe walkways

Equipment Operation

• Use case erector / box erector
• Use pallet jack
• Use shrink wrap machine
• Use label printers
• Use barcode scanners (if implemented)

Daily Performance Expectations

• Work independently without constant supervision
• Follow written procedures
• Stay on task during work hours (no phone use except breaks)
• Maintain productivity throughout shift
• Communicate issues immediately

Required Skills

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Order picking experience
• Shipping label experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred Experience (Strongly Desired)

• ShipRush experience
• Amazon FBA preparation
• UNFI or KeHE experience
• Inventory counting
• Warehouse distribution experience
• Health & beauty product handling

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
