Field Service Engineer

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty for up to 8 to 12 hours daily.
• Education and/or Experience
• Requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 to 5 years of field service experience.
• Must meet requirements for electrician and have a high level of mechanical aptitude in addition to those listed above.
• Must have 3-5 years of PLC experience and understand the logic in regards to equipment functions. Understanding of temperature controllers and AC drives including programming these devices.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, warranties, company standards, and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
