The Job You Will Perform:
- Assist Machine Operators in operating machines that convert, corrugate, band,print/cut and feed product
- Train to become Machine Operators
- May train to operate specialized Powered Industrial Trucks/Equipment
- Utilize basic shop math and read factory orders and machine instructions
- Accurately complete quality and administrative documents and follow directions
- This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
- Able to work overtime and weekends
- Able to work rotating shifts in a 24 hour operation
- Fundamental computer skills
- Basic shop math and ability to read factory orders and machine instructions
- Reliable transportation
- Recent manufacturing and/or recent semi-skilled trades experience preferred
