The Job You Will Perform
- Following all safety rules and practices
- Experience in Electrical & Mechanical Field
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required
- Perform predictive and preventive maintenance duties to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment in a timely manner
- Perform predictive and preventive maintenance duties and generate work notifications to address any issues detected
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and overtime as required
- Individual will be required to pass pre-employment testing, background check and drug screening
- Qualified candidates must have formal and on the job training in the following: electrical and basic electronics, AC/DC drives, PLC controllers, basic hydraulics and pneumatics
- Troubleshooting: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures
- Complete work order cycle within SAP; Create orders, perform work, confirm time and enter equipment history
- Work closely with all team members to ensure each task is completed in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist other team members in the plant to minimize downtime and maintain quality;
- Candidates must be able to make decisions and work with Maintenance and Plant Supervisors in order to complete assigned tasks
- Two-year vocational training in electrical technology is preferred
- Corrugated Industry maintenance experience a plus
