As Head of Test Cell Planning within TRATON Group R&D, you will lead a global organization with employees based in both Nuremberg and Södertälje. In this role, you drive the operational planning of test and certification resources—covering test cells, equipment, preparation activities, and results management—to ensure efficient, high-quality testing that meets customer requirements across the group.
You will lead a team of skilled planning specialists in a fast-moving environment with strong ambition for development and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously optimize planning processes and methodologies to ensure speed, transparency, and high-quality test outcomes.
- Serve as the primary interface for domain teams and stakeholders, enabling effective communication, strong collaboration, and the removal of bottlenecks throughout the testing workflow.
- Act as the key contact toward customers outside the domain, ensuring efficient test execution, reliable results, and high customer satisfaction.
- Drive cross-functional efficiency improvements together with the management teams by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing process enhancements. Track progress and ensure effective follow-up on change initiatives and strategic improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 5 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
OR
- Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 4 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
OR
- PhD in Engineering , Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 3 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
