Position Overview:
The Materials Management Supervisor role directs the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for kitting and/or conveyance. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
As International Motors continues to grow in San Antonio, we are expanding our production operations with the introduction of a night production shift. The night shift is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with production planned to begin in early 2027.
This position will initially work Day Shift and be required to transition to Night Shift as the operation ramps up in mid-2027.
Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM.
This is a salaried position supporting a manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule aligns with the designated production shift, employees are expected to provide operational support as needed to meet business objectives. This may require working outside normal production hours, including extended shifts, production startup activities, recovery efforts, and occasional weekend support based on operational requirements.
Shift Differential: 10% differential upon transitioning to Night Shift work schedule.

- Supervise and manage a team to provide support in daily production needs, focused on kitting and/or conveyance areas.
- Maintain and audit accurate inventory.
- Develop and encourage the team in growing within their career.
- Demonstrate problem solving resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action to resolve and prevent production interruptions.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.
- May assist with the establishment and maintenance of inventory control system.
- Develops and evaluates personnel to ensure efficiency of operation functions.
- Allocates staffing and coverage, foresee production issues and diminish downtime.
- Drive Safety improvements, behaviors and strong culture of safety in Supply Chain.
- Communicate across multiple functions including General Assembly, Quality, Engineering and other production departments in manufacturing plant to ensure production goals are met.
- Develops 5’s schedules and maintains 5’s in assigned stations.
- Plan and schedule overtime based off of tasks and production needs.
- Troubleshoot daily operational deviations.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Projects & Activities
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of materials management or supply chain experience
OR
- Master's degree and at least 1 year of materials management or supply chain experience
OR
- At least 5 years of materials management or supply chain experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
- Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, and Teams
- Analytical Skills – Critical thinking capability, ability to compare, contrast and quantify, and keen attention to detail, with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily business requirements
- Firm understanding of manufacturing processes
- Takes initiative, embraces challenge/change Projects self-confidence, communicates effectively at all levels
- Coach, train and lead new processes
- Flexible in working overtime to complete daily tasks and support production needs
