International Drilling Equipment (IDE) is an OEM dealer of Foundation Drilling Equipment and accessories, looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective repair of machine components in the shop and field, at high levels of quality. This role requires independence in a field environment and the ability to work with customers, suppliers, colleagues, manufacturers, weather, and other conditions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective repair of machine components in the shop and field, at high levels of quality. This role requires independence in a field environment and the ability to work with customers, suppliers, colleagues, manufacturers, weather, and other conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong commitment to working safely and preventing damage to the environment.
- Develop and maintain a set of tools necessary for the position.
- Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on all makes of drilling equipment and other equipment in the shop and field environments.
- Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, and schematics.
- Plan methods and sequences for performing assigned activities.
- Ensure all activities are completed as assigned.
- Prepare proper daily records and documentation of actions taken.
- Ensure the cosmetic appearance of equipment upon completion as required.
- Return unused parts and materials as per guidelines.
- Keep accurate and legible records in compliance with established methods.
- Care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Communicate professionally with others.
- Enforce all policies and procedures specified in company manuals.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Perform tasks in full compliance with International Drilling Equipment safety standards.
- Be accountable to your supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
- Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments for all work activities.
- Promote safety in the shop and at field locations.
- Ensure the work site is safe and that all tools are used in satisfactory condition.
- Participate in pre-job safety planning and Toolbox Talks.

Requirements:
- A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.
