Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced equipment repair technician to join our team at International Drilling Equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and effective repair of machine components in the shop and field, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and legible records in compliance with established methods.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Perform tasks in full compliance with International Drilling Equipment safety standards.
• Be accountable to your supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
• Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments for all work activities.
• Promote safety in the shop and at field locations.
• Ensure the work site is safe and that all tools are used in satisfactory condition.
• Participate in pre-job safety planning and Toolbox Talks.

Requirements:

• A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.
