Join the International Crane Foundation (ICF) and be part of a global non-profit organization dedicated to protecting cranes and the ecosystems, watersheds, and landscapes they call home. At ICF, every employee plays a role in advancing conservation efforts around the world. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about people, energized by mission-driven work, and excited to help recruit a talented workforce that supports our conservation goals. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes by helping attract, engage, and support the people who carry-out our mission everyday.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, generous paid time off, and additional perks designed to support work-life balance and well-being. The schedule is Monday-Friday during normal business hours, and it is based at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity of 2-3 days at home during the week.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of U.S.-based staff, ensuring candidates and new employees experience a welcoming, professional, and mission-centered organization. You will partner with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent, guide the hiring process from job posting through offer acceptance, and coordinate onboarding activities that help new employees successfully integrate into the organization. You will also support employee benefits administration, assist with employee relations activities, and help foster a positive workplace culture through employee recognition and engagement initiatives. As a steward of ICF's culture and values, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional employee experience from the very first interaction.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or at least three years of experience in recruiting and onboarding, including advertising positions, screening applications, conducting interviews, and advising hiring managers on effective hiring practices. Experience working with HR information systems is required, with ADP Workforce Now experience preferred. Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) and nonprofit experience are a plus. We are looking for a highly organized, relationship-focused professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for supporting employees and advancing the mission of a conservation-focused organization.
