Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Execute specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring surfaces.
• Conduct janitorial services across various areas, ensuring restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Assist with residential painting projects and minor repairs to improve facility aesthetics and functionality.
• Carry out industrial cleaning procedures in large or specialized environments to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and maintenance logs to ensure operational efficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial and residential cleaning techniques.
• Skilled in floor care processes including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to restore flooring quality.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods suitable for large-scale or specialized environments.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks such as painting or basic repairs in facilities maintenance roles.
• Familiarity with porter duties including trash disposal, supply restocking, and general building support functions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness records and schedules.
