This position provides Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with a depth, breadth, volume and intensity of clinical training necessary to serve as primary care providers in FQHCs, improve their skills and knowledge in serving the needs of our patient population; and provide direct patient care and health care services within the framework of established medical guidelines and the ICHS’ Principles of Practice and approved by the appropriate licensing board in the State of Washington.

The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required. Applicants must complete all of the following components:
Program Structure
Experience - Two (2) years of health care experience and/or working with community health center patients preferred.
Other Requirement(s) - National Board Certification (PAC) and current Physician Assistant license to practice in the State of Washington or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License to practice in the State of Washington. BLS Certified. Bilingual (English/API language) preferred.

Eligibility
Successful Applicants Will Be
- Recent graduates of an accredited ARNP or PA program with an emphasis on clinical experiences in Family Practice.
- Board-certified as an FNP or PA-C by the start of the program
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Washington State
- Interested in long-term primary care practice
- Experienced in healthcare settings that serve patients with varied needs and backgrounds (Two or more years preferred, not required)
- Bilingual

Program Structure
- 12-month full-time residency
- Core primary care rotations and continuity clinic
- Weekly learning sessions and workshops
- Dedicated preceptors and regular evaluations
- Protected time for a clinic-support project
- Ongoing mentorship and professional development
- Applications open December 1, 2025
- Applications are due January 30, 2026
- Interviews are offered first week of February,
- The interview takes place in late February
- All residency offers - March 3rd.
- Program begins September 7

Salary : $82,472 - $120,747
