Outside Sales Rep - Factory Automation (FA), Industrial Robotic Solutions, Mechatronics, Automotive, Manufacturing

The main responsibility of this Outside Sales Rep position is to promote and sell factory automation, industrial robotic solutions used in production lines, and mechatronics in the automotive and the other manufacturing sectors.

Your main prospective and existing customers are going to be maintenance teams, and factory managers at the Japanese manufacturing companies in the US.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• 3 years of B-to-B Outside Sales Experience in the automotive industry, and/or in a manufacturing sector (, such as electronics, electric machines, steel, liquid crystal, medical, food, or semiconductor).
• Able to travel 50% of the time. (Other than the time when you are travelling, you can work from home in Illinois.)
• Familiar with factory automation, industrial robotic solutions used in production lines, and mechatronics.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Fluent in English. Japanese language skills are helpful, not required.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• A valid US driver’s license. (Note: There is no reliable public transportation near the facilities.)
• Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.

This is a full-time position with benefits. The employer provides health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k match plan to its employees in accordance with the company policy.

Salary: $70,000 to $100,000/yr

FLSA Status: Exempt
