What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Supervisor position at International Automotive Components?
Summary:
Supervise and coordinate activities of employees engaged molding of plastic components, operating and maintaining injection molding machines.
Duties:
1. Examine Materials and products at various stages of processing for conformance to specifications.
2. Observe machines and equipment for malfunction and order adjustments or repairs, or direct workers to make adjustments or repairs.
3. Review production schedules and determine resource needs and make appropriate adjustments in resource allocations as schedules dictate.
4. Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
5. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
6. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
7. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
8. Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or employees.
9. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
10. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
11. Maintain time and production records.
12. Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
13. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
14. Set up machines and equipment.
15. Perform activities of workers supervised.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises several employees in the various molding divisions. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
