We are looking for a Plastic Injection Purchasing Manager to join a major company in the automotive sector located in McCalla, on a permanent basis.
- · Position objective: Manage the planning, negotiation, and purchasing of materials for the plastic injection area, as well as other assigned production resources for all new projects industrialized within America. Provide support with assigned tasks to the Group’s plants and the department.
More specifically, the selected professional will be responsible for the plastic injection area, working with other colleagues in the department under the coordination of a manager at the national level.
The main responsibilities include:
- · Ensure the company’s competitiveness by maintaining excellent suppliers in their respective technologies.
- · Identify new suppliers and opportunities and develop new technologies.
- · Maintain an international and competitive supplier panel, ensuring that established profitability targets are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
- · Be part of the New Project Launch team and the Continuous Improvement team.

What are we looking for?
- · Technical knowledge: Knowledge of plastic injection molding and thermoforming. Knowledge of project management and negotiation techniques. Knowledge of management software applications and electronic communication systems (SAP).
- · Education: University degree, vocational training qualification, diploma, or engineering degree, or qualifications related to purchasing.
- · Experience: Two to four years of experience in similar positions. Previous experience in the automotive and/or plastics sector will be highly valued, particularly purchasing experience in the plastic injection area.
- · Languages: Minimum B2 level of English.
