Warehouse Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized logistics & Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations. Manage stocks area, expedition and receipt of material. Coordinate and supervise the processes of storage, dispatch of materials and equipment and facilities in their department. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, inventory control, logistics, and team management to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of materials. MAJOR MPORTANT TASKS

· Supervises and distributes the activities of the staff under his charge.

· Analyze that the internal demands are in accordance with the contracted capacity and periodically review the needs of the clients.

· Serve customers properly, always keeping them informed about the situation of their goods.

· Supervises the correct identification and modulation of goods entering the warehouse according to customer instructions.

· Supervises that the data of the system is updated periodically by our team.

· Keeping track of dispatched material against stock material (stock control)

· Coordinate together with their collaborators the daily management of customers.

· Coordinate together with the staff the collection of materials and outputs from the factory, according to the program of needs.

· Oversee the management of customer-owned containers in accordance with established regulations. (Manage the packaging owned by the Client and control its condition)

· Periodic review and analysis of the logistics charges received by customers.

· In collaboration with the Quality Department, evaluate and qualify Transportation Providers.

· Maintain an updated List of Transportation Providers, having been previously approved by Management.

· Carry out the quantitative inventory of the stored products.

· Collaborate with the Quality Department in the study of non-conformities (actual or potential) and in the establishment of corrective and preventive actions.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Fulfills and performs other duties/duties as assigned.

· You can assist with special or other projects as assigned by the supervisor
Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution centers or warehouses.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, logistics, and materials handling.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar inventory management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with strong managerial communication skills and team leadership qualities.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as lean management to streamline workflows.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
• Background working with e-commerce fulfillment centers or 3PL providers is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

SKILLS

• SAP experience desired.
• Proffiecent in microsoft office products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION

High school diploma/GED required
