What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Full-Time position at Internal Medicine/Pediatric office?
We are looking for a Medical Assistant, must have at least 2 years of clinical work experience. This is a full-time position in an Internal Medicine and Pediatric practice with 2 physicians. We work Monday through Friday 8:00-4:45 with a 45 minute lunch break, and each MA works one half-day Saturday a month.
The job duties include front office (answering phones, checking-in patients, scheduling appointments and consultations) and back office (vital signs, taking a history, giving immunizations and injections, running in-office labs).
It is important to have strong computer skills for EMR, be organized, be able to multi-task, and have great people skills to work in our busy practice.
