Job Responsibilities
- Proactively engages hiring managers and operational leadership to meet recruiting needs.
- Successfully organizes and manages a regular and high-volume case load of open positions.
- Source and recruit potential staff through various resources, including social media, referrals, local schools/universities, job fairs, etc.
- Posts job openings and collects new hire documents.
- Collaborates on recruiting needs including managing and updating job postings as requested.
- Actively seeks out new and progressive methods of advertising for, and attracting, talent.
- Partners with marketing department to continuously manage social media presence.
- Participates in job fairs, both virtual and in-person, as necessary.
- Oversees new hire orientation programs and training.
- Maintains electronic employee personnel files.
- Evaluate candidate resumes against position requirements and utilize applicant tracking system to document the hiring process, as applicable.
- Conducts background screens and other necessary pre-and post-hire tasks.
- May assist with additional HR functions as needed to support a team environment.
- Monitors and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Takes personal accountability to comply with organizational and Human Resources policies and procedures and acts as a role model for the entire organization.
- May participate in training and development programs, as requested.
- May perform administration of HRIS and other electronic HR records systems to maximize the capabilities of these systems and ensure that employee data contained within is correct.
- Creates, runs, maintains and distributes routine and ad hoc reports.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years’ experience in high volume recruiting required.
- Human Resources generalist background strongly preferred; equivalent experience and education will be considered.
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must possess and maintain a valid DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card
