Overview:
Looking for a full-time wood shop production associate and assembler. This manufacturing position is responsible for working on variety of different retail displays. The manufacturer will routinely maintain equipment on the factory assembly line.
Responsibilities:
Acting as a table saw, bandsaw, planer, router, belt sander, and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble products.
Monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one
Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
