We are seeking an experienced Associate to join a busy and growing Trade Remedies group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex international trade matters, including investigations, reviews, and litigation before U.S. agencies and courts. The position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about trade law and eager to counsel clients on compliance and policy issues.
Preferred office locations include Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and New York.
Responsibilities:
- Handle antidumping and countervailing duty matters before the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission.
- Build administrative records and develop legal arguments for agency proceedings.
- Represent clients in litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
- Counsel clients on trade policy matters before the Executive Branch and Congress.
- Advise on compliance with trade remedy statutes, including Section 232, Section 301, and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade remedies, either in private practice or government.
- Strong knowledge of antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings.
- Experience developing legal arguments and building administrative records.
- Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage complex matters and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction preferred.
