A leading defense AM Law 200 firm with offices across the U.S, is seeking a high performing Associate Attorney with 2 years of civil litigation experience. This opportunity is based in New York City - with a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing remote or in-office work.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and or support a defense litigation caseload from inception through dispositive motion, mediation, negotiated resolution or trial
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Skills and Educational Requirements
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience
- Professional Liability experience preferred
- Current NY Bar admission in good standing required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $140,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience)
