A globally recognized, award-winning law firm nearly 70 offices worldwide is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 3 years of experience for their NYC office.
The practice advises national and international insurers on complex coverage matters, including pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors & omissions, and excess liability. The firm’s insurance coverage litigation practice is highly ranked in industry guides, offering significant responsibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop litigation strategies for insurance coverage disputes and class actions
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice to clients
- Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings and mediations
- Manage and supervise associates and paralegals
Qualifications:
- 7 years of insurance coverage litigation experience, particularly with product liability policies
- Admitted to practice in all courts in New York (New Jersey admission preferred)
- Solid deposition and state/federal court experience
- Excellent academic credentials and strong work history
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and leadership skills
