Our client is seeking a Senior-Level Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their Los Angeles office. The firm’s litigation team represents businesses in high-stakes disputes across a wide range of industries. They blend extensive trial experience with practical business insight, guiding clients through every phase of litigation—from early negotiations and risk assessment to trial and appeal. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong litigation experience who is capable of independently managing complex commercial disputes with limited oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Craft litigation strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Represent clients in state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Contribute to early case assessment, risk evaluation, and litigation budgeting.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas when needed.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
- Significant experience in commercial litigation with a proven ability to run cases with limited oversight.
- Strong litigation skills, including trial or substantial courtroom experience.
- Experience with disputes involving contract claims, fraud, unfair trade practices, professional negligence, or other business-related matters.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
