Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Bankruptcy Associate to join their growing Dallas office. This senior-level role requires 10 years of sophisticated bankruptcy experience. Their practice handles some of the most complex matters under the Bankruptcy Code, delivering results-driven, economically efficient solutions for both creditors and debtors. With a national presence and strong cross-disciplinary capabilities, they represent stakeholders across a wide range of industries and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapters 7, 11, 13, and 15.
- Advise and advocate for a wide range of stakeholders, including committees, debtors, trustees, creditors, landlords, tenants, purchasers, investors, and lenders.
- Manage sophisticated matters involving asset liquidation, corporate reorganisations, and personal bankruptcies.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys in corporate, real estate, tax, employment, intellectual property, environmental, securities, regulatory, and litigation practices to resolve multi-issue bankruptcy matters.
- Provide strategic guidance while maintaining high standards of legal excellence, communication, and client service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of bankruptcy law experience.
- Strong background representing both creditors and debtors in complex matters.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multifaceted, high-stakes bankruptcy cases independently.
- Experience collaborating across multiple legal disciplines.
- Ability to take a leadership role within a busy and growing practice.
- Admission to the Texas Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
