Accounts Payable Office Assistant | Gresham, OR | $25–$28/hr

Interlaken, Inc. is a growing, Woman-Owned site and utility excavation company serving the Greater Portland area. Our clients include local municipalities and private contractors, and we've built a solid reputation by being dependable and doing quality work.

We're hiring an Accounts Payable Office Assistant who will serve as the central point of contact between our field teams, vendors, and the office. You'll be the person people rely on to get connected, get answers, and keep things moving. This role is a good fit if you're a people person who also happens to be organized, detail-oriented, and steady when things get busy. This is a full-time position with core hours around 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, but we're flexible on start and end times and open to part-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR Manager with daily administrative tasks
  • Enter and scan Invoices and Credit Card receipts into our Accounting software Foundation
  • Pull aging reports and verify vendor payments
  • Handle written and phone correspondence with vendors, partners, and field staff
  • Maintain current vendor and subcontractor files
  • Assist with office supply and materials ordering
  • Answer phones and direct calls
  • Provide general administrative support to the Executive and Project Management teams
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $25–$28/hr based on experience (Open to entry level)
