We are seeking a Studio Design Lead on behalf of our client, a luxury hospitality design firm known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovation, collaboration, and design excellence. The Role - The Studio Design Lead plays a pivotal role, serving as both a design lead and project manager, guiding the aesthetic and design direction of all office projects. You’ll be the steward of design standards, ensuring consistency, innovation, and beauty across a portfolio of high-profile hospitality projects.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee design development and review all projects before they advance.
- Lead client presentations and provide continual design feedback to project teams.
- Establish and implement firm-wide presentation and design standards.
- Build and strengthen client relationships while consistently driving satisfaction.
- Set and manage client expectations, while fostering lasting partnerships.
- Mentor and inspire design teams, creating an environment of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
- Pioneer processes that optimize workflow, productivity, and creative outcomes.
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in 4–5 star hospitality projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture.
- Proven ability to lead design teams, manage client interactions, and uphold project financials.
- Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to roll up your sleeves to work side-by-side with the team.
- A passion for delivering design excellence while cultivating strong relationships.
