What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Design Account Sales Manager position at Interior Talent?
Interior Design Account Sales Manager

Opportunity is based in South Florida
We’re seeking an Interior Design Account Sales Manager who will serve as a critical link between product, brand, and the design community, driving meaningful relationships and business growth within top-tier interior design firms.
This is not a traditional sales role. It’s a strategic, relationship-driven position at the center of the interior design ecosystem, where credibility, industry insight, and trust are just as important as performance. You’ll partner closely with designers and firms to position the brand as a go-to resource, while identifying and converting new opportunities that fuel long-term growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the interior design industry, a refined approach to client engagement, and the ability to operate with both autonomy and strategic alignment. You are equally comfortable opening doors, nurturing relationships, and translating market insight into actionable business strategies.

- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs

- Manage budgets related to business development activities
- Ensure efforts are aligned with ROI and performance goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 5 years of proven success in sales, ideally within interior design, home furnishings, or related industries
- Experience working with interior designers, architects, or design firms
- Strong understanding of the interior design market and trends
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to ~75% within the territory

This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts connector, strategist, and closer. If you understand how designers think, what they value, and how to build meaningful relationships within that world, you will find this role both rewarding and impactful.
