Essential Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate shop and field crews for countertop fabrication and installation.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily labor schedules to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Monitor work schedules and proactively address any deviations to minimize delays and ensure workflow continuity.
- Collaborate with shop and field leaders to verify that all materials and tools are ready prior to dispatch.
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal scheduling communications across departments.
- Communicate real-time updates to team members regarding schedule changes, delays, or project status.
- Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between schedules and job requirements.
- Maintain accurate scheduling and dispatch records, ensuring that data is current and easily accessible.
- Perform administrative tasks to support scheduling, reporting, and daily dispatch operations.
- Monitor field and shop workload to ensure balanced distribution of labor and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of dispatching, scheduling, or coordination experience, preferably in construction, fabrication, or installation environments.
- Prior experience in stone, quartz, granite, or marble fabrication and installation.
- Experience using scheduling or ERP systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Technical & Organizational Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to quickly learn scheduling software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and field crews.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships across departments.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and find effective, timely solutions.
- High sense of urgency with adaptability to shifting operational priorities.
