Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist: MA/CMA/RMA/LPN
Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No direct patient care
Pay rates:
CMA/RMA/MA: Up to $40.81 per hour, depending on experience!
LPN: Up to $49.82 per hour, depending on experience!
We are seeking experienced Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist to support a centralized Medication Prior Authorization team with high-volume Epic In Basket work.
Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of medication prior authorizations, including self-administered medications such as GLP-1s
- Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests
- Track requests, follow up on additional information, and assist with denials/appeals
- Use Epic, RightFax, softphone, and related systems
- Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies
Requirements:
- MA, CMA, RMA, or active LPN
- 1 or more years of processing medication prior authorizations within the EPIC system
- Previous experience with complex medication prior authorizations
- Strong Epic proficiency, including In Basket workflows
- Strong organization, accuracy, and communication skill
