What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Interim HealthCare - Sioux Falls, SD?
From Pierre, SD to Mitchell, Sioux Falls to Brookings, Yankton to Irene, Wakonda and Beresford, from Marion to Sioux Falls, & from Brandon to Watertown, we are Interim Healthcare!
Job Duties May Include:
- PRN, Self-Scheduling and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living Settings
- Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease
- Aide with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake, if applicable
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, if applicable
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes, as needed
- Work with the facility staff to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Experience:
- Active CNA License within South Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility (transfer eligibility)
- Maintains required certification renewal(s)
- Experience highly preferred but not required
