Position Summary
The Infor Solutions Architect at Interface, Inc. plays a critical role in aligning enterprise technology with business strategy in a precision load cell manufacturing environment. This position requires deep expertise in Infor CSI/SyteLine and manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on optimizing Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales processes.
The role serves as a strategic and technical bridge between Executive Leadership, IT, Sales, Operations, and Engineering, ensuring that Infor solutions effectively support Interface’s growth, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Strategy: Develops comprehensive solution designs, creating roadmaps and aligning Infor software with Interface objectives.
- Consulting: Acts as a consultant, analyzing business processes, modeling "to-be" states in Infor, and documenting solutions.
- Sales Support: Supports sales by creating tailored demonstrations and proposals, showing how Infor addresses industry challenges.
- Implementation Guidance: Oversees solution deployment, ensuring efficient use of Infor's methodology and tools.
- Technical Liaison: Bridges communication between Executive leadership, Sales, Operations and Engineering.
Required Skills & Experience
- Infor Expertise: Extensive experience with specific Infor CSI Syteline
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with .NET, C#, SQL, integration tools, and reporting.
- Methodology: Knowledge of Infor Deployment Methodology (IDM) and Agile practices.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of core business functions (finance, supply chain, manufacturing) and KPIs.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Physical Demands: This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves extended periods of sitting while working on a computer or analyzing data. Occasional walking through the manufacturing area may be required to observe processes or meet with production personnel. The role may involve light physical activity, such as lifting or moving equipment or documents weighing up to 20 pounds. Clear verbal and written communication, as well as visual focus for data review, coding, and report analysis, are essential for successful performance in this role.
