Job Purpose
ICE Data Service's flagship market data display application, ICE Connect, leverages a comprehensive multi-asset class package to support operational workflows across the middle and back office. The ICE Connect Multi-asset Sales Executive works within the wider Pricing and Reference Data sales team to affect change among our existing and potential customers in adoption of the application.
An array of product skills must be coached to new users to successfully land and expand customer business opportunities. Personalized support allows ICE to handle those challenges directly, hands-on, and instill confidence in our clients that ICE Connect is the right solution for them.
Responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities to deliver innovative ICE technical products to institutions of all sizes and roles in the financial ecosystem;
- Solving client business and budgetary objectives with a thin client, web-based market data platform;
- Providing hands-on user training of existing and new product capabilities to drive maximum client adoption rates;
- Delivering customer feedback to ICE product teams for product enhancement and roadmap development;
- Crafting commercial proposals that are flexible and tailored to drive the greatest mutual value for ICE and our customers;
- Being the central point of contact within a wider data services organization for the ICE Connect engagement.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 years in market data sales, market data product, or financial data services roles
- Ability to work independently and to adapt effectively in frequently changing working environments
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and clients simultaneously and effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in hands-on support of end users adopting new technologies, migrating from incumbent services to new products, and tailoring deployments for customer workflows
- Comfortable presenting key aspects of the product to large audiences and groups of people clearly, confidently, and in an engaging manner
- An understanding of the fundamental behavior and content of financial market data across asset classes
Base Salary Range for New York
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $85,000 - 135,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
