Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, hallways, waiting areas, and common spaces
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, counters, and shared equipment exteriors
- Clean and maintain restrooms, staff areas, and other designated hospital facilities
- Follow approved cleaning procedures and disinfectant product instructions
- Handle and dispose of routine and regulated waste according to facility policies and training
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report low inventory
- Use cleaning equipment and personal protective equipment appropriately
- Follow infection prevention, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
- Report spills, maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, and sanitation issues
- Complete cleaning checklists and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Previous hospital, healthcare, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
