This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH, for a Specialty Sales Professional. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, promoting Intercept's products and therapeutic solutions, maintaining a deep understanding of liver disease treatments, and driving sales growth. Day-to-day activities include engaging with medical professionals, developing and executing territory business plans, reporting on sales performance, and staying informed on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
- Sales and Relationship Management: Proven ability in pharmaceutical sales, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of liver diseases, rare disease markets, and experience in working with specialized care providers and institutions is advantageous.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on delivering impactful presentations and fostering collaborations.
- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans to drive market penetration and achieve sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM tools and other sales-related software to track performance and maintain data accuracy.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for candidates having a background in life sciences or a related field. Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical sales or specialized sales roles.
