Our client is adding a Sales Engineer that will be part of a rapidly growing automation and controls industry. This Sales Engineer will generate new business and educate customers, providing information about the latest industrial control products and solutions. Candidates should have a working knowledge and understanding of a range of PLCs, Motion, Drives, Industrial PCs, Distributed I/O, HMI and Microsoft based software.
Required education/experience:
- Bachelors of Science in Business, Engineering or related field from a four year college or technical school.
- 7 years' experience of successfully selling automation solutions with OEM and End User customers.
- Understanding of PLC's, Motion Drives, Industrial PC's, and Distributed I/O.
- Highly motivated self - starter with good organizational skills.
- Plan promotional events, presentations, and maintenance of specific technology.
- Advise customers on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of specific technology applications, as well as recommending training opportunities offered
Preferred education/experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or business and 3 years experience as a Automation expert within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Team player mentality, but able to work independently as required
- Experience with Windows, Windows Networking and Microsoft Applications.
