What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deskside Support position at Inter-Prompt Global (IP Global)?
We are looking for a Field Services Support Engineer who is responsible for providing end-to-end support for desktop systems, endpoint devices, and IT infrastructure to ensure high system availability and performance aligned with business requirements.
Contract duration: 2 years (likely to extend)
Work window: 4x5 (4 hours/day & 5 days/week)
Location: Alpharetta GA, USA
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and endpoint devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and software.
- Deliver hands & feet support for hardware, software, and network activities.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Manage and update support tickets with progress and resolution details.
- Set up and test desktop peripherals like monitors, printers, and accessories.
- Execute system changes as per organizational policies.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting using standard tools.
- Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with IT teams.
- Handling Onboarding, Offboarding, Laptop upgrade, Laptop replacement tickets in ServiceNow.
- Creating shipping label for both Onboarding and Offboarding, To drop laptop in UPS to user.
Technical Skills
Hardware & Networking
