Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Record journal entries for revenue, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other general ledger activities
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including revenue, intercompany balances, and subledgers
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
• Support the monthly close process by ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions
• Prepare documentation and schedules for external audits
• Compile financial data for internal management reporting and variance analysis
• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with or within business process outsourcing (BPO) environments is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across department
