Role Description
We are seeking a highly trained and dedicated Armed Security Officer for a full-time, on-site position in Reno, NV. The primary responsibilities include maintaining the safety and security of assigned premises, conducting regular patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to security incidents. The Armed Security Officer will also prepare detailed reports, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and collaborate with team members and local authorities when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in security operations, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to effectively document incidents and prepare detailed written reports
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, visitors, and law enforcement
- Physical fitness and capability to handle high-pressure situations
- Valid state-issued security license and firearm permit, if required
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills for report submission and use of security technology
