What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Division’s budget and financial resources, providing strategic analysis, forecasting, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and optimal resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial management processes, including budget execution, projections, reconciliations, and compliance, ensuring alignment with IDB policies and effective coordination with corporate units.

  • Lead the Front Office team for the Division, ensuring high quality coordination, prioritization, and delivery of key activities, including the planning and execution of high profile events, missions, and senior level engagements.
  • Strengthen internal processes and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and leading the design and implementation of improvements.
  • Foster effective collaboration and communication across internal stakeholders (technical teams, Front Office, HR, Finance, Procurement, and other corporate units) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Oversee the preparation of analytical reports and dashboards, synthesizing complex information into clear insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Champion a client oriented approach within the Division, ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery, proactive problem solving, and continuous improvement of internal support functions.
  • Support and lead change management efforts, facilitating the implementation of new systems, policies, and processes, and promoting adaptability across teams.
  • Support audit, reporting, and compliance processes, ensuring proper documentation and traceability of financial and operational information.
  • Serve as an engagement champion for the Division, strengthening staff and consultant engagement through initiatives that promote collaboration, alignment, and a strong sense of team cohesion.

What You'll Need
