IT Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, optimization, and ongoing management of enterprise network infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in routing, switching, firewall technologies, and customer premises equipment (CPE). The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Cisco and Juniper environments and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex network performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and telephony customer premises equipment (CPE).
• Implement and maintain network hardware, software, communication links, and associated services.
• Optimize network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and service-related issues.
• Monitor and support network infrastructure to ensure compliance with company standards and SLAs.
• Manage service provisioning, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Provide hands-on support for enterprise routing, switching, and security environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure initiatives and technical projects.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks routers and switches.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies.
• Extensive experience with enterprise routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Proven experience with firewall platforms including:
• Cisco ASA
• Juniper SRX
• Check Point NG
• Deep understanding of internetworking design principles and implementation best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring, performance tuning, and issue remediation.
• Relevant certifications preferred:
• CCNA
• CCNP
• CCIE
