Lab Build Program Manager

Overview

Seeking a Program Manager to coordinate the build-out of new lab space supporting satellite terminal testing in harsh environment simulations. This role partners closely with the Facility Lead, internal engineering teams, and contractors to execute high-visibility, seven-figure lab build projects.

Ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting lab build-outs, commissioning equipment, and driving special projects forward in technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate build-out of new lab spaces for environmental simulation testing
• Partner closely with Facility Lead and internal mechanical and reliability teams
• Manage permitting, equipment setup, and contractor coordination
• Ensure proper commissioning of lab equipment
• Track milestones and push projects forward to meet execution goals
• Develop summary tools and reporting mechanisms for project visibility
• Collaborate across internal stakeholders to maintain alignment
  
  

Must-Have Hard Skills (Top 3)

• Direct experience supporting a lab build-out
• Experience commissioning equipment
• Experience supporting adjacent build environments (e.g., restaurant or similar facility build-outs)

• Experience working with GRATH
• Proficiency with tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Project

Experience & Education

• 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Background in engineering, architecture, or special project/operations coordination
• MBA a plus
• No certifications required
