Enrollment Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Provider Enrollment Specialist to support the enrollment and credentialing of healthcare providers. This role is responsible for preparing enrollment applications, maintaining provider records, and working with physicians, payers, and internal teams to ensure providers are enrolled accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in provider enrollment, insurance verification, medical billing, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit provider enrollment and re-credentialing applications to commercial and government payers.
- Review applications for accuracy and ensure all required documentation is complete.
- Contact providers to obtain missing licenses, certifications, or other required information.
- Track application status and follow up with insurance payers as needed.
- Maintain accurate provider records, including service locations, licenses, and certifications.
- Monitor credential expiration dates and send renewal reminders.
- Update provider information in systems such as CAQH, NPPES, NaviNet, and ECHO.
- Document payer communications and maintain organized provider files.
- Partner with the Billing team to help resolve provider enrollment and claims-related issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to physicians and internal stakeholders throughout the enrollment process.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, medical insurance verification, medical billing, provider relations, or a related healthcare administrative role.
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment processes.
- Experience using CAQH, NPPES, NaviNet, ECHO, or similar provider enrollment systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a physician practice, hospital, health system, or healthcare organization.
- Knowledge of provider credentialing and payer enrollment requirements.
Salary : $25 - $28
