Barista and Cashier

Job Summary

Intentional Coffee is looking for upstanding, energetic candidate to join our team of Baristas as a Lead Barista/Shift Supervisor. If you find yourself in love with coffee, teamwork, and fast-paced environments, reach out to us.

Responsibilities:

• He/She is responsible for every customer by providing excellent customer service.
• As a Barista, you will educate customers about premium coffees, teas, drinks etc. You are a true professional that fulfills any additional duties the Manager assigns.
• Must display a positive attitude at all times to ensure the return of our customers.
• Seek to understand customer needs and tailor suggestions to suit those needs, sharing product knowledge accurately and confidently and making personal recommendations.
• Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Provide inspired customer service. Be punctual.
• Maintains a clean, organized and stocked environment and when necessary assists in the distribution of product shipments.
• Performs all POS duties, front, and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures.
• Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members.
• Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld. Is accountable for store funds while running a shift.
• Assists Store Manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
• Will provide guidance and actively set an example for team members, ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and followed.
• Follows and directs team members to follow store policies, procedures and adhere to merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Promotes and practices safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and team member incidents to the store manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work mornings, nights, and weekends.
• A quick thinking, detail-oriented individual.
