Role: QA Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA – 5 Days Onsite (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Employment Type: W2 Only – No C2C
About the Role
We are seeking a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in test automation, backend validation, and end-to-end quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and SQL/MySQL, along with experience testing web-based applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Create test plans, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Selenium.
- Validate backend data using SQL and MySQL.
- Log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure software quality.
- Support application releases and post-deployment validation.
- Maintain testing documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Software QA/Test Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and SQL/MySQL.
- Experience testing web-based and client-server applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience with backend/database validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
