Job Title: Power Validation Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: Duration: 12 Months (Potential extensions/conversion)
We are looking for a Power Validation Engineer to support power validation for cutting-edge consumer electronics / wearable devices. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software, driving power efficiency from early concept through production.
You will play a key role in defining power measurement methodologies, building validation infrastructure, and ensuring products meet strict power KPIs.
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience validating power subsystems for consumer devices
- Working knowledge of Bucks, Boost, LDOs, Load Switches, Fuel Gauge, SoC power, etc.
- Basic understanding of Android OS, Linux kernel, and SoC power architecture
- Familiarity with communication protocols - I2C, SPI, UART
- Experience defining validation plans for power subsystems
- Experience capturing power consumption data under different use cases
- Experience using lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, data acquisition units)
- 3 years of experience writing scripts in Python/LabView
Salary : $65 - $80
