Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate exceptional skills in various nursing disciplines. This role involves working closely with patients to provide high-quality care, support, and education while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth is a plus.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Skills in pain management, triage, acute care, hospice care, or emergency medicine are advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS may be beneficial.

Pay: Up to $52.00 per hour
