Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Drive retail sell-through and revenue growth for smart home and IoT products (e.g., security cameras, smart devices) across key channels including big-box retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners.
- Build and manage relationships with retail buyers and partners, executing joint business plans, promotions, and in-store/online merchandising strategies.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and account acquisition to negotiations, forecasting, and post-sale performance tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to launch new products, optimize pricing, and ensure strong market positioning.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine go-to-market strategies and consistently exceed sales targets.
Qualifications
- Established retail network and buyer relationships across major North American accounts such as Best Buy, Lowe’s, Target, The Home Depot, and similar big-box / omni-channel retailers.
- Proven experience in the smart home / IoT / consumer electronics category (e.g., security cameras, connected devices, home automation), with strong understanding of product positioning and retail dynamics.
- Track record of driving sell-in and sell-through growth, managing national or regional retail accounts, and executing joint business plans (JBP).
- Strong expertise in retail distribution strategy, merchandising, in-store execution, and e-commerce channel management (including marketplaces like Amazon).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional programs with retail buyers while protecting margins and brand positioning.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to support product launches and go-to-market execution.
- Data-driven approach with solid skills in forecasting, pipeline management, and retail analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence both internal teams and external partners.
