Role: IT Support Analyst
Location: West Point, PA 19486
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $28/hr. to $33/hr.
Required Skills:
- 4 years of experience in an IT support or laboratory environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support.
- Experience with computer hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge, including connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting instrument-controlled computers and laboratory IT systems.
- Knowledge of Windows security administration (user/group permissions, Group Policies, file and folder security).
- Experience with computer imaging, software deployment, and system upgrades.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and remote support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with instrument vendors, laboratory personnel, and infrastructure teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within defined timelines.
- Experience maintaining IT asset inventories and documentation.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery systems.
- Ability to work in laboratory environments while following safety and compliance requirements.
- Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and move between laboratories and buildings.
