Location: Clark, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months (Potential Extension / Full-Time Conversion)
Pay Rate: $29.50/hr on W2
Description:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced Operations & Finance team supporting trade compliance and financial reporting functions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with financial data, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, validate, and manage financial data from multiple sources
• Assist in preparing monthly reports (customs tariffs, VAT, brokerage fees)
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and trend analysis
• Support financial modeling and forecasting
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to financial planning
• Work with Excel and SAP to reconcile and manage reports
Required Skills:
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Solid understanding of finance/accounting fundamentals
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience (internships welcome!)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to Have:
• Experience with SAP
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Exposure to import/export or compliance reporting
