Job Title: Buyer
Pay Rate - $50/hr
Location: Meritt Island FL
Qualifications:
- Interprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance
- Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
- Ability to write price reasonableness determinations / price analyses of all types per FAR requirements
- Experience supporting negotiations of all types, including, but not limited to, pricing, terms and conditions, FAR / customer contract flowdowns, and schedule
- Working understanding of AS9100 standards
- Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications, drawings, & statements of work
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
- Experience in procurement of avionics, machined parts, raw materials
- Experience working in Costpoint, Exostar, Windchill, SharePoint, JIRA, Tableau
- Experience working with Certified Cost or Pricing Data
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree
- What are the programs, technologies, and certifications that are useful for them to already know? Are there any must-have skills?
- What non-technical Skills are necessary (such as communication, problem solving, team player, i.e.)
