Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proven Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical training program in CNC machining.
- Experience with CNC programming and CAM software.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with an EDM, Mills, and Fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM programs to determine machining operations and sequences.
- Perform routine inspections and measurements using precision instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to optimize production efficiency and part accuracy.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or programming issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
